Get excited because the cast for SAM BROWN is set and rehearsing in New York RIGHT NOW. The genius Patti Murin (XANADU) is playing the title character. The luminous Lisa Brescia (TIMES THEY ARE A’CHANGIN, WICKED) and the impervious Stephen Bogardus (WHITE CHRISTMAS, LOVE, VALOUR, COMPASSION) will play the parents. The effervescent Jenni Barber (THE ELECTRIC COMPANY, THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE) will play Sam’s best friend Kelly and the swoon-worthy Nick Blaemire (CRY BABY, composer of GLORY DAYS) plays Sam’s boyfriend Adam.
The production is being directed by the unflappable Daniel Goldstein and, in our humble opinion, the whole equation equals awesomeness incarnate. Everybody is working their asses off and plane tickets to California are ridonculously cheap right now. Priceline this shit and come see our show!!

Loved the show guys and excellent casting!!! Saw it twice. Wish I got to see all the performances. So what’s next? Hopefully you’ll open finally on Broadway with it. It definitely hits the right note in this current generation. If not, I’ll just settle for a cast album recording with present cast or Ill fly out to go see it workshopped again. Again congratulations. Great writing. My sister and I were crying because of the relatable storyline and crying because it was hilarious. Thanks for this one. Wished there was a part 2.
