Several weeks ago I saw that someone named Grant Gustin was going to be on "Glee' and there was a link to him singing on some website. So I clicked on the link. Holy effin' cow! I was stunned by how much I taken by this song. Then saw that so many singers here in New York had performed it. I'm well into late middle age, yet "Run Away With Me" just brought back my distant youth with a fury. Never knew of Matt Doyle until I saw him sing it on YouTube, but now I'm going to see his show at Joe's Pub next week. Can't wait to find out more about "....Samantha Brown" and certainly Kerrigan & Lowdermilk. Amazin' how one click can open doors, doors I never dreamed existed. Being in Detroit. a little off-Broadway, I had never heard it until a week ago. It was sung with mesmerizing beauty and artistry by Ian Patrick Gibb, who is touring with "Les Miz", at a "Broadway Cares" benefit in Detroit. To hear Ian sing it with his beautiful, clear tenor voice is to be left less than a puddle; I evaporated! Hope he records it. I'm about to graduate high school with highest honors--I've always been a typical overachiever. I completely connect with the entire concept of this show, because the feeling of driving away pulses through my heart sometimes. I listen to every song and feel the rush that only comes from truly understanding a song within your heart. Your songs are absolutely beautiful--this one in particular makes me cry. I am praying and hoping and wishing to see Samantha Brown become a produced musical SOON. :) I need you to know how much I am not only in love with this song, but with this entire musical.
